This article provides an overview of historical opinions on the likelihood of French involvement on behalf of Native Americans in King Philip's War. In particular a letter written on September 15, 1676 from Joshua Scottow and Henry Jocelyn to Governor John Leverett is analyzed as possible evidence of French involvement.
